Ice Storm

The ice was crazy! Snow turned to freezing rain and kept on raining and freezing definately a storm for the books...

Sledding

Snow!

It does not happen often but when the kids saw snow they could not wait to go outside and of course the first thing to do is build a snowman ie "Frosty". Too bad we did not have a magic hat... I think they were more excited for snow than Christmas morning (hahaha) oh and Daisy too!

Eric discovered that the snow got his pants wet with his boots and hands too cold so he had to wear my boots and gloves. Ethney did not care she was out the next morning in her jammies...

Santa Came

Video as kids were coming downstairs Christmas morning. Brian was going to be in charge of the pictures that day please disregard his voice he is not very savvy when it comes to new technologies and electronics (it cut off my voice adding "hey genius it won't record without the SD card.") But Santa came and the kids were excited!

Ethney asked for "Cookie" a furreal playful dog that barks (her and dogs)
Eric asked for "Charlie that goes on that track" another train from Thomas and Friends still his all time favorite. He also received a Percy pillow pet (Percy is his favorite train and green his favorite color). We made cookies Christmas Eve and set out cookies, milk and carrots for the reindeer.

Merry Christmas

Opening Presents! Christmas finally came and they could open those presents under the tree that was so hard to wait for. We loved watching them open their gifts and seeing their expressions they were so excited and thankful for each one!

Sugar Cookies

You can tell which ones the kids decorated. Eric has been very much into the Gingerbread man story this year (started with school) we have played and made gingerbread man daily (when we were doing cookies he had to re-do the gingerbread cookies we had to make a few days earlier). I don't think we can eat the cookies they decorated it had every kind of sprinkle and candy possible but its the fun that counts.

Decorating the tree. We had Buzz lightyear help with the star (tree topper) this year.
