You can tell which ones the kids decorated. Eric has been very much into the Gingerbread man story this year (started with school) we have played and made gingerbread man daily (when we were doing cookies he had to re-do the gingerbread cookies we had to make a few days earlier). I don't think we can eat the cookies they decorated it had every kind of sprinkle and candy possible but its the fun that counts.

Looks like Christmas time
Santa Train
We took the Mt. Rainier scenic railroad train with Santa this year! As much as Eric likes "Thomas the train" I thought he would be thrilled to ride a steam engine but he was a little overwhelmed with the noise from the steam.

Santa sat in the caboose of the train and we would walk through the cars to visit him during our ride. We ate popcorn and cookies and drank hot chocolate to keep warm.

Big Baby
Ellie is 3 Months!!!
She is growing and growing and growing. Her nicknames are chunky piggie, rollie pollie, and chubbers. I know but I can't help it you should see her rolls! Just so you can get an idea at her 2 month check up (2.5months) she was 13 1/2 pounds and 24 1/2 inches long! She is now officially in all 6 month clothing yes 6 months at barely 3 months old.
Ellie is really not interested in masturing any physical milestones like trying to roll over with tummy time she loves looking at her toys and is starting to reach she got one in her hand a couple of times and her face was priceless I wish I had the camera at that moment when she realized that somehow she was able to use her hands and hold a toy! She loves sitting in my lap and rocking some days too much and will only nap in my arms like today (can't get the house work done and the kids just make a huge mess but I can sit and update this blog) but already enjoys looking at books! I am so exicted because the twins could never hold still for a book. She loves to talk she coos and goos and smiles! We are supposed to go in to get pictures done this Friday but we are all sick miserable baby being so congested so soon she will have her first professional photo shoot so Grandma photos should be coming in the mail soon.
Ellie, you are such a blessing to us we are so grateful that you joined our family I already cannot imagine life without you.
Eric is finally warming up to "baby" so much that he is constantly talking about wanting a baby brother.... whoa, what... uh Eric seriously after all we have been through.

Fall Day
So far its been a pretty crazy year with a very eventful pregnancy! I will never forget the words from a Dr at about my 15th week mark when she mentioned "I dont see any fluid and not much of a heartbeat how about you come in next week (D&C) cause how long do you want to stay pregnant when I see no hope" This was not my Dr. but happened to be the Dr on call when I was in labor with Emma and then the twins so I thought I would use her this go around so she can deliver all our babies. That night Brian and I had a lot of prayer I later had a lot of humble quiet moments talking with my Emma throughout the rest of the pregnancy (I went back to my Dr) The pregnancy then of course continued and was going along very well until my body wanted to go into very early labor and was on complete bed rest some of those days were very difficult and I had a lot of humble moments alone in my very quiet house. I just know that Emma had a lot to do with my Ellie coming to this world. When Ellie was born we kept thinking she has a resemblence but was just not like Ethney and Eric until Brian said Emma (Ellie has her chin and nose). On September 25th our Emma was born 6 years ago. Emma, you truely are my angel baby and at my quiet humble moments I can fill your presence in our home.

Fair Time
Our fair is not until September and of course it was a bit chilly but the kids had a blast and were so excited! We went one night after Brian got home from work before his parents left back home to Arizona so they could watch Ellie. Our fair experience only consists of rides as that is all the kids have patience for and they love it so that is all we did bought them an unlimited ride bracelet and we told them to ride as many rides as we could fit in the small time frame we had before it got too late and Mom could get home to baby.

First Day of Pre School
We were able to keep them in the same school as last year which is great because Ethney just loves her teachers and class! She does miss her old friends that went onto Kindergarten this year. We are trying Eric in the same class as Ethney this year but I cannot tell you it will stay that way as I am very close to putting Eric back with his teacher from last year (same school). As of now they do not ride the bus so I take them and pick them up daily it can be crazy getting out of the car with both of them and a newborn and walking up to the school as well as standing out front when school is out by the time I get back home not much time to myself (I think I had time for a shower adn of course to feed our 'chunky piggy') but actually should work great for me as soon as Ellie gets a little older then I can swing by the gym and work out gets me out of the house Ellie can play in the nursery... Ellie has no schedule at all and I can not predict anything with her at this time

Ellie ready for the school ride.

Ocean Shores
We took a small family trip to the ocean since we finally started having some summer weather just in time for September... They loved playing in the water a little scarry for us as Ethney with no fear will run into the ocean and stand and get tompled by waves. Ellie came too she hung out in the front carrier away from the wind and the van.
We flew kites. Eric was amazed that you didnt have to run so he was a little worried it would fly away because it didnt require running Ethney got bored and played in the sand (who needs sand toys)
We had fun! It was the first time we went to the coast without Daisy haha cant imagine adding her in the mix...
Ellie's Blessing
Here are a few family pictures and some with Grandma and Granpa before leaving for church. Grandma and Grandpa both made the trip out to see Ellie and of course see the twins since they probably didnt know what to do when all of a sudden their house was quiet again. Thanks mom and Dad for everything
Eric & Ethneys Colorado memories
Ethney and Eric lived with Grandma and Grandpa in Colorado for a little over 2 months while I was on complete bedrest. Thank You to all my family that helped with them. Unfortunately for me it was spring time and they spent Easter, Mothers Day and their Birthday away. For their Birthday they got their very own camera here are some pictures from their stay!

unsupervised painting
Its August 31st today and I can count on hands the number of summer days we have had. With that being said I have needed to find things to keep 2 actve kids busy and entertained with hopefully little outbursts so I can nurse a newborn every 2 hours. This was the first day I was alone with all 3 as Juliet left the night before. I got out the paints and paper sat in the rocker to feed Ellie not even 3ft away. They seemed to be having a geat time finally turned around and this is what I found.....

I put Ellie in the swing and told them to go straight up to the bath not touching anything they apparently didnt hear (which happens a lot) the not touching as i later found handprints all along the wall. good thing its water colors! oh why I dont have time to get anything done...
