unsupervised painting

Its August 31st today and I can count on hands the number of summer days we have had. With that being said I have needed to find things to keep 2 actve kids busy and entertained with hopefully little outbursts so I can nurse a newborn every 2 hours. This was the first day I was alone with all 3 as Juliet left the night before. I got out the paints and paper sat in the rocker to feed Ellie not even 3ft away. They seemed to be having a geat time finally turned around and this is what I found.....






I put Ellie in the swing and told them to go straight up to the bath not touching anything they apparently didnt hear (which happens a lot) the not touching as i later found handprints all along the wall. good thing its water colors! oh why I dont have time to get anything done...

A Day out WithThomas

Eric has been looking forwaed to this for weeks. Unfortunately the weather wasnt very good and he was over excited so a combo of being tired and hungry made it a rough time but we had good intentions. Thank You to Juliet for staying with Ellie as she was only 2weeks.






We did get a suvenoir t they wear as often as possible.

Ethney loved spending time with Brianna and asks all the time why she has to live so far away. She refers to Brianna as her sister and best friend.

It took us 3 days to settle on her name. She was almost named Ella, Elisa or Eva it had to start with an E as we have Emma, Ethney and Eric it would only be fitting.
The nurse administering the hearing test in the hospital came in on the 3rd day (one day before discharge due to my C-Section)at the beginning we said no name yet. Brian had the computer on and looking over names and their meanings again for the 10th time at least he read the meaning for the name Ellie (at this point we were sure it was Ella but having some doubts) and he just looked at me and said this is her name I read over the meaning and we both said to the nurse during the test her name is Ellie Maxine we quickly filled out the birth certificate form and signed it before we started being indecissive again.
